Memorial Day Weekend in Nags Head!

We spent another fun filled Memorial Day weekend down at Nags Head! We look forward to this weekend every year and always have such fun! This year was no different! Claire now has another beach buddy who loves the beach as much as she does...Anna Kate had such fun in the sand!

Mother's Day 2014

Had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! Got a surprise visit from Aunt Kristen so we all got the spend time together with Grammie! We had a nice lunch with Grammie and Aunt Kristen! And a fun dinner with Mema! A great day with a lot of special people!

Anna Kate is 10 months old!

Anna Kate turned 10 months on April 27th! Still a happy, easy going, fun baby!

She had her 9 month appt this month a little late, but in April she weighed 17.5 lbs, 27 3/8 inches and head is 17 1/8 inches. About the 25th percentile all around. Claire had her 3 year appt this month too and weighs 29 1/4 lbs and 36 1/4 inches!!

Some fun things this month! Her first tooth came in! It was her bottom left tooth came in first and about 3 weeks later the bottom right one came poking through! Still working on eating more...still loves her cheerios and crackers though.

She also climbed up the stairs! And stood up without holding onto anything for a short bit. She is really good and standing up on her own too.

She started to point at things! And she loves to put things in and out of buckets. She loves the touch and feel books too. Her favorite is Little Hands Love!

Easter 2014

We all had a wonderful Easter this year!

Showing the Easter Bunny cupcakes we made! She loved putting on the marshmallow ears, jelly bean nose, chocolate chip eyes and twizzler whiskers! She may have eaten some of the candy as we went along :)
