Anna Kate is 17 months!

Anna Kate turned 17 months on Thanksgiving this year!!

This month her talking has really taken off! She can really repeat and say anything you ask her to. Claire loves to play the "say ____, Anna Kate" game. They both think it's great when she does! Some of Anna Kate's favoite words this month: animal, jacket, diaper, brush, milk, please, and SISSY! She also started calling us Mommy and Daddy instead of Mama and Dada. Anna Kate loves to do "roll call" when we get in the car. She'll call out, Mommy, Daddy, Sissy. And she waits for each person to answer.

Anna Kate is a big helper too! She gets her shoes when it's time to put them on, gets her toothbrush when it's time to brush her teeth, gets her jacket, puts the jacket back when we get home, gets her diaper, and cleans up toys!

Her favorites right now are coloring (anything), being pushed on her car by Claire, The Bearstein Bears Go Out to Eat book, brushing her teeth, and trying on shoes.

She has really done a great job eating this month!! She loves yogurt, dried blueberries, eggs, goldfish, and apples.

Zoo visit

To celebrate Veteran's Day with our own special veteran, we made a trip to the Richmond Zoo on our special Tuesday off! The weather was perfect, 70 degrees in November, wow!

The girls loved, loved all of the animals! Zebras, giraffes, camels, parrots, bats, penguins, lions, bears, monkeys, and more!

Halloween with Doc and Lambie!

Halloween 2014 was  a blast! Lots of fun Halloween activities leading up to the big day as well. Pumpkin carving, visit to the pumpkin far again, Halloween party at daddy's work, fall fest at church complete with s'mores, costume parade and party at school and a cul de sac pizza party before trick or treating!!

Claire loves the Disney character DocMcStuffins and was thrilled to be her for Halloween. And Doc has a little lamb friend, Lambie, so that's who Anna Kate was!
