Zoo visit

To celebrate Veteran's Day with our own special veteran, we made a trip to the Richmond Zoo on our special Tuesday off! The weather was perfect, 70 degrees in November, wow!

The girls loved, loved all of the animals! Zebras, giraffes, camels, parrots, bats, penguins, lions, bears, monkeys, and more!

Halloween with Doc and Lambie!

Halloween 2014 was  a blast! Lots of fun Halloween activities leading up to the big day as well. Pumpkin carving, visit to the pumpkin far again, Halloween party at daddy's work, fall fest at church complete with s'mores, costume parade and party at school and a cul de sac pizza party before trick or treating!!

Claire loves the Disney character DocMcStuffins and was thrilled to be her for Halloween. And Doc has a little lamb friend, Lambie, so that's who Anna Kate was!

Anna Kate is 16 months old!!

Anna Kate turned 16 months on October 27th!! She is busy, busy! She is definitely a climber just like her sister. She loves to try and climb up on the table and to try and climb into her high chair!

She is a little helper now. She loves to try and help you when you change her diaper and give you the diaper and even try to wipe. When I'm sweeping she is right there to help with the dust pan. Or to wipe up a spill with a wipe.

We have been going to mother goose storytime when Claire is in school and she loves it. Anna Kate loves to go up and get the book out of the book bin when it's time to read the story. And she loves all of the songs. Her favorite is zoom, zoom because she gets to shoot up like a rocket at the end. At the end when they bring out the toys for everyone to play with, when they toss out the balls, Anna Kate runs up excitedly yelling, balls, balls!!

She also has a favorite game to play with daddy when he gets home from work. When he walks in the door she takes his hand and leads him to the dinning room where daddy has the takeoff spot for her favorite game of airplane where she flys all over the house with daddy!

Her favorite foods right now are apples!! She loves to munch on a whole apple. And is always saying, apple! She also likes pizza rolls, yogurt, eggs and strawberries!
