Graduation

Claire had a busy week last week! We stayed in Hampton after Nags Head for Adam's graduation the next weekend. We had a visit with Grandma "D," a visit with cousin Thomas, went to the Greek Festival :) and went to Adam's graduation and party. She had a great time and just loved all of the action. She is now talking a lot and laughing!! It is adorable :)

Nags Head!

Over Memorial Day weekend, Claire made her first of many trips to Nags Head, NC. She loved it! She took in all of the action and loved just watching everyone and everything!

Sunday was beach day! We drove down onto Oregon Inlet and couldn't have asked for better weather! We camped out under the canope to enjoy all of the delicious grilled food!

There's Molly

It's been awhile! Let's see...Mother's Day weekend we ventured into the city to one of our favorite restaurants, Founding Farmers, for a yummy lunch. It was right near the White House so afterwards we took Claire for her first visit!

 Claire also went to her first Gymboree class! We sing songs, have tummy time on a  mirror, touch different textures and lots of other fun things.

Aunt Kristen finished up her first year of grad school so we took a quick trip to Hampton to surprise Grandma on her birthday!

Claire is really smiling a lot! She does the cutest thing sometimes when you smile at her she'll smile real big and then turn her head to the side, like she's kind of shy. I think it's adorable :) She loves to kick her feet and pull on her hanging toys on her play mat.

2 months old!

Claire turned 2 months last week! She weighs 9 lbs 5 oz and is 22 in long!

I think she's more excited about being 2 months :)

We also met with our mommy group. Claire loved just looking at all of the babies and taking it all in. She also got to try out a lot of different toys. We found a play mat she loved!

Over the weekend we went to Grandma and Grandpa "D"s house so David could play in a golf tournament with his Dad. They won 3rd place! While they were playing golf, Grandma, Claire and I ventured to the farmer's market in colonial Williamsburg and got some yummy treats! Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day with Grandma "D" and went to an art show and lunch!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter with Claire! It was a busy, fun weekend of family, friends, and of course Easter eggs!

Saturday we had lunch with Aunt Cindy and Jiffy and both Uncle Mikes and Danny at the house. We also went to Jenna's 4th birthday party where Claire met her cousin Thomas who was born 2 weeks after Claire. And Mommy and Daddy had their first night out! We went to our good friend's engagement party. Both us, Claire and Grandma and Grandpa lasted 2 hours :)

Sunday we ventured to church and then to Uncle Jim and Aunt Paula's for lunch and our annual Easter egg hunt. Claire found the golden egg!

Last week, Claire and I met the mommy group in Old Town by the waterfront. The temperature was in the 80's and absolutely beautiful down by the water. We laid blankets under a tree and hung out with all of the babies!

Just Claire

There was great weather on Sunday too, so the whole family (including Molly) went for a walk around a nearby lake. Claire loved looking through the peep holes in the top of her stroller. With this nice weather, Claire, Molly and I have been taking a nice walk every morning and sometimes in the evening also.

Claire is still smiling and "talking" more and more. She still loves her playmat!
