Anna Kate is 23 months old!

Anna Kate turned 23 months on May 27th! I can't believe that she is going to be 2 next month!!!

Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese for sure!! She can really eat a lot of that! She also likes grapes, roasted broccoli, cheese, mozzarella sticks, peanuts, and Wheat thins. She also has quite the sweet tooth like her sister and loves cookies too!

She loves to build things with the magna-tiles, throw balls, , coloring, and she loves to play with the dollhouse.

We are playing outside a lot now that the weather is so much warmer! She loves to ride in the push along cozy coupe. She is always sure to wear her helmet when riding in the car like her sister does when she rides her scooter...before she even climbs into the car she has her helmet in hand! She loves playing outside with her sister and neighbor friends!

Anna Kate loves filling the the blank to "Miss Mary Mack," You say Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack all dressed in ....." She will say "black, black, black!" She also love to sing the chorus to "Let it Go" over and over and over again! She still loves to do patty cake and loves to say different letters instead of "b" for baby!

She is getting better with counting and can do 1, 2, 3 easily. But she tends to skip 4, 5, 6 and goes from 7 to 14. For some reason she doesn't lie 4, 5 or 6!

Anna Kate is 22 months old!

Anna Kate turned 22 months old on April 27th!

She loves stickers, swings and her sister!! She cam sit there for hours with stickers and take them off one by one and put them onto the paper. Or her arms! She is very proud of her sticker creations.

And she loves the swing, that's the first thing she goes for at the playground. Then the slide!

And she loves to do whatever her sister is doing. They play so well together now. They really get each other now and act out trips to the beach, taking their baby dolls for a walk to the park, etc.

Anna Kate is 21 months old!

Anna Kate turned 21 months on March 27th! Such a fun loving, happy girl!

At storytime at the library her favorite song is "Zoom, zoom, zoom. We're going to the moon! 5,4,3,2,1 blast off!!" She loves to crouch down and jump up when we say blast off! When she is crouching down she pats her knees to the beat!

She loves to turn on her noise maker in her room and sit in her rocking chair and look through her books! If I hear the noise maker turn on during the day, I know where to find her!

She has great manners and will say usually always say "please" and "thank you."

She loves to get the diaper wipes and change the baby dolls diapers. And she is really into taking off her own pants and diaper!!

I was singing "skina ma rink a dink a dink (sp?!?)" and when I got to the "I love..." Anna Kate yells "you!" from the next room!

She loves to play with the dinosaurs and dinosaur mat. She will lay out the mat and line up all of her dinosaurs on it!

Still loves the swing! And pushes from her big sister!

Claire's 4th Birthday Party!

Claire's 4th Birthday party was a Frozen party on February 28th!! She got to spend the day with her friends and family doing all things Frozen!

Claire was excited to play pin the carrot nose on Olaf!

Anna Kate is 20 months old!

Anna Kate turned 20 months on February 27th!!

She is quite the character!! She is such a little person now.

Her latest is telling us she has to go potty and leading us to the bathroom. This is in fact after she has gone potty in her diaper but she insists on sitting on the toilet AND wiping. She also has been taking off her diaper after she has gone potty which keeps mommy and daddy on their toes!! She may be getting ready for potty training but mommy and daddy are NOT ready for that yet. Hard to believe that it is right around the corner! Looks like we will have to work on that soon!

She is also talking more and more and more!! New words everyday. Many words together. Some favorites are "help me," Which she uses to want to help out. I guess since we ask, "do you want to help me?" She loves to help unload the dishwasher, pick up toys, help fold clothes, and cook. If I'm standing by the stove or baking something...I always hear..."help me!" She loves to be picked up and see all of the action as I cook or try to with one arm.

Some favorite foods now are macaroni and cheese, broccoli, apples, peanut butter pretzels, pancake, dried blueberries, gnocchi and pasta. She also loves to use a fork! She is getting really good at using it and has tried a lot more foods when she is using a fork!

She really has a sense of humor now too! For instance, when she takes off her diaper she will say, "chase me" and run holding her diaper and laughing. She thinks it's hilarious, we thought it was funny the first few times too :)
