Anna Kate turned 7 months on January 27th. She is doing more and more everyday! She is a master army crawler and can get anywhere in record speed. She also will perch and all fours and rock back and forth like she is ready to lunge. She is sitting up on her own really well and prefers to sit up to play instead of laying on her tummy now.
She started solids this month and she is not the biggest fan. Her first food was sweet potatoes and since then she has tried bananas, avocado, peas, butternut squash, apples, pears and green beans. I think sweet potatoes are her favorite but it really is a struggle to get her to open her mouth for anything on a spoon. We will keep trying!
She knows her name...is she is doing something and you say "Anna Kate" she turns her head to look at you. This is especially helpful when she has army crawled over to Molly's bowls and she will stop and turn her head just in time before the water is spilled all over :)
She is "talking" more and more and her most distinct "word" is da-da.
