A Day with the Durrs: 13 months old!

Claire turned 13 months on March 25th! No more monthly belly stickers after 12 months :( My little baby is growing up. But I'm still going to try to keep up with the monthly posts to keep up with everything she's into.

Claire is as steady as ever on her feet and now likes to run! She is so fast! It's the best when she runs and laughs when you pretend to chase her. She thinks it's the funniest thing. She also likes to have Molly chase her around the house trying to give Molly one of her snacks.

Claire is talking up a storm more and more. She says in her own way: mama, dada, Molly, dog, bird, book, more, ball, waffle, yes, rock, hi and bye.

She loves to watch the birds! She loves to sit on her window seat after she wakes up in the morning and after nap time and just watch the birds out in the trees. When we're outside somewhere when she hears birds chirping she'll say "birds!" and then we try to see where they are and point them out.

Claire loves to dance and sway to music. Riding in the shopping carts she likes to rock back and forth and say rock, rock, rock. She loves to play in her play kitchen. You can tell her to go cook you something in the kitchen and she'll go straight to it and start cooking away. She loves to stir the pot with her spoon and let you try a bite. You can tell her to turn the stove on and she will twist the on/off button on her kitchen. It's amazing how much she understands!! She also loves to have pretend tea parties with you. She will pour you a cup of tea if you ask :)
