Visit to Maymont
The weather has been absolutely beautiful and spring fever is definitely in the air. We visited Maymont today and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

First Birthday!!
Our baby girl turned one on February 25th! This year has absolutely flown by and it has been the best year of our lives :)
We had Claire's birthday party at our house with family and close friends. We were so happy and thankful that so many people made the trip up to Richmond to celebrate. Claire had so much fun at her party!! She just loved it all. She helped open her presents and test them all out! She loved the birthday candle and really wanted to touch it, yikes. She visited with everyone and enjoyed spending time with so many loved ones. She really enjoyed her day!
At 12 months, Claire is walking up a storm. She really has her balance and will just go, go, go. She says dog, ball, juice (for her water...don't know how it became juice but it works :), book, this, hi, bye, mama, dada. She loves to be carried around and point to objects and have you tell her what it is...thanks Papa :) Her favorite foods are blueberries, oranges, banana, eggs, oyster crackers and veggie/chicken stew. She loves to give people hugs and kisses. She has even given a few little babies some hugs at the children's museum and playgroup, haha. She has always loved waving and saying hi to everyone but now she will wave and say bye too!
At her 12 month appointment, Claire weighed 16 lbs 6 oz (3-5%) and is 27 1/4 inches (3-5%). She got the go ahead to start dairy (Momma too, yay!!) and she has loved yogurt and cheesy eggs! She isn't the biggest fan of whole milk yet but keep trying.
