Anna Kate's Baptism

Anna Kate was baptized on September 8th, 2013 at Christ Church Episcopal in Richmond. We were so blessed to celebrate the day with family and friends.

Anna Kate did great...she only fussed for a bit when the water was poured on her head and then went right back to sleep!

Labor Day at Nags Head!

Well we kicked off the summer in Nags Head over Memorial Day weekend (at 36 weeks pregnant!) and we had our summer send off at Nags Head over Labor Day with a 2.5 month old!!

Looks like Anna Kate is shaping up to be a beach baby just like Claire! Claire absolutely loved ever minute at the beach!! She could have played in the sand for hours and she loved the water the same! We had a wonderful weekend of beautiful beach weather, delicious food and great time with family!

Anna Kate's first time down to Oregon Inlet...she snoozed for a bit then woke up to soak up all of the action. Corn hole, swimming, sand castles and grilling!

Anna Kate is 2 months old!

Anna Kate turned 2 months old on August 27th! At her 2 month doctor's apointment she was 11 lbs 4.5 oz and 22 inches long.

She started smiling this month!! She also was more vocal this month and started making cooing noises. In the mornings she is always super smiley. She definitely is a morning person! She doesn't cry first thing when she wakes up to eat. She just coos and "talks." And when you come over to get her, she just smiles at you.

She also found her hands this month and just loves to have her hands in her mouth!
